Meet Salima

Based in Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, in the heart of Provence, Salima Benamor is a language educator and cultural facilitator who brings a deep local understanding to her immersive French language programs. Born and raised in the Luberon, she offers learners an authentic connection to both the language and the rich culture of the region.

With extensive experience teaching French and English to adult learners, she specializes in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and business English. Her dynamic, learner-centered approach creates engaging experiences that help students build real-world language skills with confidence.

 

Beyond the classroom, Salima has contributed to the cultural life of Apt through her work with Librairie Éveils, an independent bookstore that served as a vibrant hub for literary events and artistic exhibitions. She is also actively involved in supporting local community initiatives, including fundraising efforts for the Apt hospital.

 

Her love for language and culture led to studies in English Language and Literature at Tamworth College in England, followed by a university degree in Modern Literature from Avignon Université, building a strong foundation in linguistics, literature, and communication.

 

Today, through Learn French in Provence, she offers a unique program designed to inspire and accelerate French language learning, all while immersing participants in the beauty, culture, and everyday life of Provence.
